I hold fast to the belief that the reality of being human is the innate ability to learn, think and reason. These distinguishing abilities separate us from other forms of life. Therefore we are granted the ability to develop ourselves with morals and values to reach our full potential. On reflection, it appears that the basis of my own teaching methods, when teaching trade apprentices is aligned to the behavioural and liberal perspectives of education. For example, lectures, rote learning, skill demonstration and practical application of skills are all behavioural aspects of my practice. My teaching practice requires a concrete base of knowledge with methods of scaffolding on which the students can be supported. This knowledge must become tacit through rote or reception learning before practical application or assessment. The learners are provided with a concrete basis upon which to build a competent practice. This evidence is assessed through written theoretical and practical examinations. Thus my own practice draws on both traditions and some assessments can be completed online.On completion of the typing course i have become more precise in development of resourses for the section as well as the students, my skills online have definately improved and my confidence in this subject as exploded.I absolutely will implement more online studies and activities online so all my students benefit from this learning i have achieved.In education it has become evident that e learning is an absolute tool for future learning and after completing this subject i am convinced of such.

These are some sites that i find really interesting ?

Since i completed this typing course i have improved dramatically and am keen to get better with more and more practice.I never realised just how much “once you have the hang of it” that it so much easier,typing like a true professional ????????

Logged onto the wikipedia site and what a wealth of information available i am going to instruct my students tothis site for their future reference a great learning tool. 

I was reading some blogs on e learning today and realised that alot of people are not sure about the inplications that this method of delivery will not only have on the students but on them.I sensed an uneasy feeling in some of the notes.Now after being more involved in e learning i feel more at ease and i enjoy posting things on the net,also it os enteresting to read other peoples stuff,its amazing what some people wnat to share with the world.I have just read one about a women who posted that she has found it hard to go to the toilet,MMMM bit of a worry

I have completed my typing course at the beginning i had a huge error rate and on completion of the course the result was very pleasing i had a 11 errors and a 4.44% error rate completed in 234 seconds and my speed was 63.59 wpm very very pleasing result

I started my typing course ,what i expect to learn is a more precise typing skills and a faster speed.In the past i have started 3 typing course and never been able to grasp the concept.Since starting the course i had 41% errors and they have said that i cannot progress until my errors are under 3% WOW.I also have found that old habits die hard my fingers seem to have a mind of the their own and they keep on jumping all over the place.

I am going to learn to type more efficientley online.i am hoping to acquire from this course a better understanding of typing and a faster speed YEEEEPEE

i completed the online questioniare for learning styles i was not suprised when i found that i was both kinthestic and visual ,i seem to need a visual example of the subject that i am studying this is why i have found e learning a bit difficult.

During the week i developed a moodle for our section,it has all of the retail subjects in it so the students can begin their studies online i hope this works as it save so much time?
